About Him
I am passionate about technology - whether it is computer/logic based or technical/engineering based. Fluent in just about every computer language ever created, I very much enjoy talking to people in traditional languages, like English, who know things and have interesting things to say, but I don't care much for people who talk to hear themselves talk or expound upon political ideologies. I'm ambivalent to drinking alcohol or sparkling water, but do enjoy beer, wine and whiskey. I enjoy spectator sports such as motor racing, rugby, cricket and ice hockey - in person if possible or on a big screen. Relaxing evenings watching movies or listening to some good music after or while making supper is great to wind down a day with, and live music at a club is even better.
About His Ideal Match
My ideal partner must like to laugh and have a laugh, and must be comfortable when there are no words for the moment. She doesn't need to be a rocket scientist - and shouldn't be (I spend more than enough time working with scientists). It would be nice to be with someone who would rather do something about a problem instead of complaining about one. She has to like kids (such as my two growing sons, who live with me part of the time), as well as animals (dogs in particular). She also needs to be or become my best friend and life partner. I'll be there for her as much as she'll be for me.
