About Her
I'm open-minded, honest, respectful, intelligent, realistic, passionate, and independent. On the negative side, I can be stubborn and bossy, although I've learnt to be much more patient with age!
Politically, I am way left of centre, still hoping for real democracy and equality in our country, and I am feminist down to my little finger. Social justice and looking after our planet are high on my agenda. I hate corruption, racism, misogyny. I believe in hope, creativity, love, and the ability of people to fight even against terrible odds.
To relax, I love listening to the radio and podcasts, and I enjoy sewing and carpentry. Walking every day in nature is my all-time best. I have two dogs who are great companions. I look after an elderly parent, but have breaks from this most weekends.
I love travelling, architecture, art, music, comedy, dancing, and (more boringly) having a good night's sleep.
