Pretty much adjusted to single life. Have probably forgotten everything I ever knew about how to do this. If, that is, I knew anything to start with.
One thing I do know is that protracted periods of messaging/ SMSing before meeting tend to raise expectations so high that disappointment is inevitable. Better to meet for an informal steak or whatnot and either we will or will not find something in each other worth pursuing. If it doesn't click at least the steak might have been memorable and its one afternoon/ evening that we didn't spend at home alone. I'm flexible on this but really its better not to have too much pressure (of romance etc) on our first meeting. Because I know its difficult for you I promise to be on my best behaviour and do all the things a gentleman should. I really am comfortable with friends first.
AND, If you are really just looking for a casual fling look elsewhere unless you are willing to be upfront about it. I have no fundamental objections to a roll in the hay (who does?) but I need to know beforehand that that's what it is. I DO NOT play games and I expect the same from you.
