About Her
Lost husband a few years ago, grieving done, children grown and flown, found myself and built a new life. I'm pretty happy, love my work (research and education) and friends of all ages - but it's hard to meet men in this strange world at this strange age. But I don't feel or (I hope) act my age and I'm lucky to look much younger. I miss male contact. I can offer kindness, tolerance and interest in people generally. I walk on the beach most early mornings and love living near the sea. I'm civilised, eloquent, presentable, adventurous and independent - a bit intellectual and arty but my family keeps me grounded.

I really need mutually supportive relationships with good friends. I'm not sure that I want to be tied down but prepared to explore what comes and build from there. In the end though I'd like to find someone intelligent, socially competent, honest and with integrity. He will be kind, tolerant, honorable and generous in nature. A hero and dream lover would be good - or someone who believes that he is (if vibes are right for that direction) - and who is at home in the world ! But ideals are not reality and I'd enjoy meeting a nice, good man who will be my friend.
