About Him
Find out more about the universe. Knowledge is important to understand everything around us "a bit better".
Generally, a serious person that does not "beat about the bush" - honest, analytical, yet uncomplicated and that has a large scope of intellectual interest, that covers the sciences (natural and social) and the arts (music specifically). We can talk about most stuff for days, including how the Silk Road affected our culture.
Never been married and have had only one "serious" relationship. Please note, I'm not desperate... (maybe a bit of a "loner", searching for a soulmate, best friend, confidant and lover).
I am "presentable", comfortable in most company and have a good sense of humour when appropriate, and sometimes (when the occasion "demands" it) inappropriate too!
Yes, I have insecurities.
I cry when the producer or director (of even documentary programs) intended the viewer to become emotional.
Not a "womaniser". As a matter of fact, I have been "woman-shy" for way too long.
Love and have a great interest in good music from the 70's, 80's, 90's and later.
Finally, yes, my mother-tongue is Afrikaans. Considered to be an "Afrikaner", clearly not traditional, and am proud of it (by the way).

How would I know who is "ideal" (for me), but NO CHANCERS please!
(If you would understand...) "Conservatively Liberal" outlook on life, have an interest in "the world that surrounds us".
Someone who is open-minded - thinking, questioning and learning. (For example, an interest in the "world map", -peoples and -places, without necessarily having been there).
Someone independend in character - who has developed her character independently from "the crowd" she operates(ed) in. Not a sort of "stereo-type".
Someone who is financially independent and -secure.
Someone who "thinks" and is "wise", when I'm not. (We should be complementary to each other).
Someone who can be her unique, "special" self, honest, confident with securities and insecurities.
Someone who is NOT looking for a "knight in shining armour", but RATHER a best friend, confidant, soulmate, partner and lover.
Bottom line...
Someone I'm attracted to intelectually, physically and emotionally.
Ps: Lol, it'll be great if you can still listen to ABBA, Modern Talking, etc. with great pleasure; and it's a bonus if you actually have an interest that goes beyound just being familiar with "that song" or "that band". They are actually brilliant artists, it's not just "sounds in the wind".
