I live in a rural environment that has advantages like sufficient space between my neighbors and I ; fresh air, a green lawn to appreciate, and a relatively safe neighborhood.
The downside is having limited social opportunities and one has to be innovative and find fun stuff. Being mostly by myself has shown that I have resilience and can be happy by myself, but I must admit, I do like having a special man in my life. Men are interesting and different to women in more ways than meet the eye - in fact, I find men quite fascinating.
I like: cats and dogs, reading and visiting new places, coffee and hosing the garden. Not fond of shopping, but do enjoy sitting in coffee shops. Besides traveling when I can, I also love sleeping in a tent, roughing it. Reading towards a PhD keeps me relatively busy and stimulated.
