About Him
I am Christian, well-educated, easy going, energetic, stable, caring and faithful. A happy, life-long relationship and family is something that has always been very important to me. I am open minded and generally accommodating but I am not easy to walk all all over either.
I work hard and enjoy what I do (it is challenging and does require long hours ... but their is some added flexibility which I think it is well worth it in the long run). I am easy going and not overly structured life, but I do also think long term and have goals and go after them. I consider having a positive impact significantly more important that simply getting the biggest paycheck. I have lived overseas and am back in SA by choice.
By nature I am happy and optimistic. The simple things in life generally give me the most pleasure. I am active and spend time outside doing anything from cycling to hiking in the mountains to walking along the beach.

I have never had a long list of requirements. I strongly believe that with the right person, any issues quickly become non-issues. Character, values, morals, attitude and priorities in life are very important.
She should be a Christian (non-negotiable), easy going and stable, trustworthy, faithful and genuinely want a life-long relationship. Those really are the key ingredients; everything else is a bonus. Someone who is generally happy. She should see marriage a journey, not as an end, and feel that a strong relationship provides the opportunity to do more rather than less.
I dislike arguing ... it is possible to settle (inevitable) differences without energy and time wasting hostilities. Life can be hectic enough ... no extra drama is required. Low maintenance, caring, loving nature is also a big plus.
I am fit and healthy and am looking for the same. A few common interests are important but I am not looking for a clone. Some individual interests are healthy and probably a given with two independent people. She should like children and want a family.
I believe meeting in person can tell you more about compatibility than any amount of online chatting ever will ... so I do see being willing to chat over a cup of coffee or while walking along the beach as important and see where things go
