About Her
Despite being fairly introverted in my private life, out in the world I get on with a diversity of people, am good-natured, even entertaining. I value friends and family highly, and am extremely loyal . Not being a party animal, I prefer small group get-togethers. I am independent and have a fulfilling career, and am increasingly able to live in a more balanced way. Not by history or at heart a city lover, I am restored 'outdoors' - by walking , swimming, getting out of town to simple quiet 'get aways'. Somewhat spiritual, in an inclusive way. I love reading, listening to music, watching movies, seeing the occasional show and concert. I'm not entirely ignorant of or averse to sports (especially soccer). I am assured that I can still at times rediscover the adventurer and risk-taker of my youth. Is there such? I am often amazed at how more mature individuals can make seemingly unlikely relationships work. Would be great if companion/partner shared some of my interests, and/or exposed me to new ones. Preferably warm, caring, generous, non-judgemental, intelligent, not overly pessimistic about the state of the world or their life. Capable of having fun but not relentlessly frivolous. To be honest upfront, I struggle or even fail, to get close to (here's the list!) those who hold conservative sociopolitical opinions, have poor self-insight, are dishonest, selfish or self-centred, arrogant, ruthlessly ambitious and/or very materialistic.
