About Him
Although I am of pensionable age, I am hard working and like to have an occupation to keep my mind occupied. In South Africa, I was a small self-publisher and am a 'dab hand' with Quark and Mac. Enough of that.
I enjoy the company of women - more so than men, and find that I can communicate with women far better. Given the opportunity, I like a good Dinner with friends. I enjoy conversation, more so than TV watching of an evening. I am a nature-lover to the point of game animals and bird-life; therefore enjoying walks in the country. I enjoy the history of buildings and other sites. Sometimes I need my 'space'. But would always be there for the perfect partner - would care for her and enjoy her interests as well. Finally, I am an enigma - looking for someone who is of the same ilk.

My ideal woman as a partner must have good communication skills, and a sense of humour. Although she must be conservative of mind, but happy to 'let her hair down' when the occasion arises. If she works, she must be able to discuss her day as I am a good listener and happy to advise or acknowledge when required. She must not be a recluse, but outgoing to a point. She must be presentable in dress and conscientious of her appearance. In other words not a 'scruff'.
