Ek is 53 en is lief vir die natuur, mense, avontuur, fotografie, Ek hou van die plaaslewe, kampeer, toer en lekker gesels langs n kampvuur- veral as ek so bietjie Muskadel byderhand het.
Sterk Christelike morele waardes is belangrik vir my en so ook my geloof. Ek is n kind van God en probeer om my lewe volgens sy riglyne te lewe. Teologie was een van my hoofvakke toe ek in Amerika geswot het en hou van om oor Bybelsake te gesels. Maar geskiedenis is ook n groot liefde, veral SA se geskiedenis. Ek het tonne boeke oor die Boere oorlog gelees want my oupa was in die Johannesburgse komando.
Ek lees ook baie en en het n goeie algemene kennis. Die kinders dink altyd ek weet alles- min weet hulle hoe veel daar nog te leer is in die kort lewe.
Ek is n onderwyser en hou baie van kinders, maar ongelukkig het ek nooit my eie kinders gehad nie. Dit sal wonderlik wees as ek dalk iemand kan ontmoet wat reeds kinders het. Maar dit is in die Vader se hande en ek sal die paatjie volg waar hy lei.
Ek word elke oggend wakker en is bly dat dit nog n nuwe dag is. Elke dag bring n nuwe avontuur en ek is tevrede met my lewe- maar dit sal lekker wees as ek weer iemand kan kry wat dit met my wil deel.
