I live for moments that take my breath away: desert skies, forest depths, hidden pools, mountain air; objects of virtue, timeless design, unusual characters, the wonder of ideas shared, and truth truly beheld.
I follow a soulful path. Worldly-wise, energetic, but also gentle and contemplative. I am open to whatever adventures the universe has to offer.

Nature puts me at peace. I feel blessed to live in the Cape. I love the mountains, walk and hike whenever I can, enjoy mountain bike trails, views of the peninsula from my kayak, beach and trail runs.
Journeys energize me. Exploring back roads, game parks, back-packing, motorcycle trips, river trails, tropical idylls, mountain passes. I have travelled, but still have much ground to cover with the right companion.
Home is my sanctuary for slow, simple and intimate pleasures. I have two grown-up sons who live with me some of the time. They fill me with love and pride.
