About Her
I find this all a bit awkward, but if I just cast all my reservations aside, then this might give an insight into who I am:
I wake up every day energized and ready to conquer the world,
I am always ready to see the brighter side of life,
I love to laugh, and I love peace and a good vibe.
I always stand up for the underdog even when it is uncomfortable or inconvenient.
Children, teenagers and pets are my weak spot - I want to adopt them all!
And so start the contradictions -
I value family and my home,
but also like to be out and about in the world;
I have a conservative shy side to my personality,
but love laughing with total abandon, and often at myself!
I am open-minded,
but have strong principles that I apply to my own life;
I believe in God,
but don't enjoy most Churches;
I love nature
but have come to prefer chalets to sleeping in tents;
I work hard,
but can also enjoy lazing about...
I have known sadness and loss, and I believe that no one gets older without their share of hard times.
I think that the challenge is not to get stuck there.
I have taken care of the necessary, done what was required ....
I am stable and comfortable and at peace, and my children are secure and confident young adults.
So, I find myself being able to concentrate on other sides of my life..... and so the journey begins ....
