I like to think of myself as a kind,caring,intelligent woman who is passionate about many things.....I was widowed 5 years ago. The fact that i work in an " all woman environment", and the need to develop friends with members of the opposite sex,has led me to put my heart on the line and "wax lyrical" about myself.
I like the outdoors - beach, walks, mountains,picnics, or, chilling at home with a really good book.I've realised that home is not a place,it's
the people we live with that make it home.! I would like to meet new friends to share my twilight years with.Haha!
As a "baby boomer" , I 'm technologically challenged,yet, would rather use this forum to meet new friends than sitting in pubs etc.
