Easy going, happy, optimistic, creative, warm and gregarious. I aim to incorporate more balance into my lifestyle, but owning a fast paced stylish business and being creative, is a challenge - but love it and I enjoy everyday.
To recharge my batteries, I like to get my hands dirty in the garden, enjoy my dad's farm immensely (being a thoroughbred plaasmeisie), do a bit or birdwatching (still very much a novice), plan my next safari (I lovewildlife) or read autobiographies - the last book I've read and loved was "Elephant Whisperer", the current one "A lion in the bedroom".
Friends call me an enigma - since I'm two extremes. One part of me is the fashionista, loving my high heels and fine dining. Yet the "hidden" part is dedicated to the outdoors (I hate suburbia passionately), loving both wild and domestic animals and can really be a tough cookie hiking up a mountain, never getting tired Yet nothing is better than sitting on a stoep with good friends, a braaied lamb tjoppie, homebaked bread with butter! Oh and I love classical music - ranging from opera to choral, virtually anything. But also enjoy mainstream pop.
Friends would best describe be as being creative, caring and having a zest for life. I am warm, enthusiastic, bright and view life as full of potential. I live in a world of possibilities, and can become very passionate and excited about things. My enthusiasm makes it easy for me to inspire and motivate others. I absolutely love life, seeing it as a special gift and strive to make the most out of it.
I come with very little/zero baggage - no kids, complicated exes or addiction problems! But I do come with a business that takes a lot of my time and energy, but as I stated in my opening line, I continually strive towards more balance.
About Her Ideal Match
A distinguised gentleman with old fashioned values, morals, integrity and strong leadership qualities and intelligent. Hopefully someone that has his own business too or someone in a leadership of management position. If you are happy to cook, I'll be happy to eat what's on my plate - I'm not fussy at all! If you appreciate good wine, art and food, but can be just as happy in the outdoors, hiking up a mountain or fishing, it would be great. Someone that would be just as happy reading the newspaper or a good book on the stoep, sipping proper coffee (not instant) as what he'll be in theatre, entertaining at home, or being in the veld. If you adore animals (wild and domestic), it would be a bonus. If you are foward thinking, can tolerate other races and cultures, it would be a double bonus. Frequent travelling non negotiable, as I'm a travel bunny and love to discover new places.
None of the following please: guys with moustaches, gold chains, party animals, clubbers, ravers, players, porno addicts or men that like to show off their wealth (my pet hate).
I don't want to go on a 100 coffee dates, so if you aren't willing to correspond via this site for a while, please give me a skip.
