OK, so of course I know you checked out my pictures first and you're back for more which is great, here we go then!
I'm back in Cape Town (for longer than I thought my itchy feet would have allowed, I will admit!) after pretty much touching base on every continent. well OK, have not done Antarctica but my grade 3 teacher said it is not really a continent and I am sticking with that!. I must say, I loved good public transportation and wandering around strange cities and really miss that about being back.
I have blue eyes and blond hair and can operate a knife and fork reasonably well in a public setting. I still have my original 32 shiny pearlies and it would be a big plus if you have a full set as well. If you had to take the time to "count" to make sure, you probably should sit this one out. Everything else works fine and is in the right places. Sometimes I can be unashamed politically incorrect. I can say "no" and scream "yes". I give real hugs, not those whimpy A-frame ones that one gets stuck with on all too a regular basis nowadays.
Definitely a foodie and love to cook, although I never really follow recipes so what you get is typically as much a surprise for you as me. Bonus points thus if you know Heston Blumenthal or when El Bulli will be open again. I will eat anything that doesn't move on a plate but being able to provide a steady supply of Alaskan king crab legs will give you a clear unfair advantage over any competition.
I probably need a good PA but I am uncomplicated, undamaged and have no real baggage. However I should probably mention my particular weakness for any activities that includes a good single malt amongst the props. Caveat emptor may thus be in order!
About His Ideal Match
Some would argue that I am a bit picky about my dates/potential future romantic interests, but I place higher value on intelligence, sense of humor, your values and ethics and the fact that you do not still live with your mom, as opposed to your bra size or shoe collection. You should also definitely be a woman from birth and have not turned into one recently. I would be great, if you consider yourself educated (diesel mech college or beauty school do not count).
Someone who has interests, passions, and the courage to follow them for as long and far as it may take. Also please have strong opinions about the world around you, since, as appealing as I know it may sound to try and seduce me all the time, I will need someone to have some quasi sensible conversations with, sooner or later.
Someone who can travel is critical and you must be willing to go off the beaten track. This means less shopping on 5th avenue NYC and more of the sidewalk vendor that allegedly serves the best snake meat with ginger in Cambodia. I have an obsession with having adventures and firmly believe in activities, whether it be on the other side of the world or the back garden, that may result in a "good story" is one of life's most useful pursuits. Thus, I would rate the ability to run in heels as an acceptable superhero power.
It would be a grave blow to our potential romantic relationship if you like listening to Kenny G, or if you have hair like Kenny G, or if you kill people for a living. Although if you really do kill people for a living, it might still work, as long as they are all bad people, or if your work takes you outside South Africa.
So, after reading this far you've already got way too much time invested - might as well e-mail me. So if you want to stop browsing and meet someone real - write back and say "Hi, I thought we should chat since [insert verbs/nouns]". Easy!
