About Her
Intelligence is my biggest criteria and turn on. I am looking for intelligent conversation, somebody who has a sense of humour and is resilient. I am not going to be the answer to your problems or fix your life, so if you are looking for a mother, psychiatrist or care-giver, move right along. If you are looking for an angel who is all things perfect and never has a bad day, I am not your girl. If fat is a problem, you can stop reading now. I have certain physical limitations, so if somebody to climb mountains is on your list, it aint me. :)
I understand that you don't get to this stage of your life without baggage. We all have it, deal with it. I don't play mind games. I will tell you what I think. I can be brutally frank and will call a spade a spade, so if you have tender sensibilities, maybe I am not for you. (I am working on this!) I have too many cats and they are non-negotiable, so if you don't like cats, don't even bother to read further. I have an adopted daughter who has black skin, so if you have race issues, you can stop reading now. Having put off a fair percentage of people, I do have a lot of good attributes like intelligence, humour ( some would say I am a bit wacky), loyalty, compassion and I can cook (very important according to my grandmother :) ) I am blessed with awesome friends who think I am wonderful. (there must be something to that many people agreeing on this!). So, if you are up to dealing with a real person who has much to offer, then I am your girl. :)
About Her Ideal Match
I am getting more discerning as I spend time on this site. SO.......I am put off by people who don't bother to do a spell check on their profile and who think they are fantastic and rate themselves as gorgeous. People are complex, I get that. Nobody is perfect, we are all (hopefully) a work in progress. I am looking for companionship, not a person who's only interest is sex. Somebody who is authentic that I can spend quiet time as easily as socialize with. Somebody who can challenge me intellectually and can debate an issue and agree to disagree if necessary. Somebody who will be kind and patient with my daughter.
In summary: I am looking for a rocket scientist who is funny and kind and who is able to roll with the punches. Should not be hard to find.....hey :)
