About Her
I am a very down to earth person and "fancy" or wealthy does not really impress me. I am fully trilingual. I was born in SA from Dutch parents, went to an Afrikaans school my entire life and married an English speaking man.
I have been widowed for the last 12 years. I was married for 19 years. I live on a small-holding and love nature and animals.
One of my big passions is reading, a real book, not an e-reader or whatever. Call me old fashioned but I love the smell of a book.
I really enjoy staying active - gym, swimming, hiking, horse riding, cycling, camping. And bonus - I do not mind squatting behind a bush........
My pet hate is shopping centres. Maybe I have shopped too much in my life but that is a whole other story......
I love travelling and have been fortunate enough to have seen a fair amount of the world.
I am a "mean" cook so beware....!!!
