About Her
I am a nature lover. I enjoy hiking and sometimes trail running in nature reserves and quiet unspoiled places. I do not enjoy spending much time indoors (go to the gym very rarely) and enjoy a glass of wine on the beach on summer evenings, sitting outdoors at restaurants and the company of good friends. My main passion is the bushveld and I like to visit a few times a year- Kruger and Kgalagadi are my favourites but keen to explore other reserves in Southern Africa and more remote areas. My ultimate goal is to move from the Cape, which I love, to somewhere in the bush where I am closer to the predators I am so passionate about- lions, hyaenas, leopards and raptors. Bird-watching is also a hobby, but I am not a twitcher. I also have a special dog which I take hiking with me whenever I can.
About Her Ideal Match
I am looking for a companion to explore nature and and the bushveld with. Someone who has similar interests- enjoys the outdoors- possibly birds, animals and plants. Perhaps someone who works in the bush or is involved with conservation or wildlife. This particular person could be athletic and keen on outdoor activities but also fond of dogs and other animals. I can't really see myself involved with someone who doesn't share these interests because they are so much part of my life. The person does not necessarily have to live close to where I do- I live in Cape Town but keen to spend more time closer to either Kgalagadi or Kruger. I suppose the ultimate would be someone just like me- crazy, different and passionate about the natural world.
