I think I'm an acquired taste.
I read, a lot.
I love music. I sing (not badly). I will occasionally paint or draw.
I like the outdoors.
My career is important to me. What I spend a large portion of my day doing, means the world to me and I LOVE my job. I fought hard to get where I am.

I love camping and fishing (though to be honest, I like sitting by a body of water with a book while someone else endeavours to entice a fish).
I love animals. I prefer them to most people.
I like quiet, cold misty mornings, deep conversation and good food + wine (preferably red). I love sushi.
I firmly believe I am without malice or ill intent. I am sensitive to the plight of others, empathetic and compassionate.

I have had my run of relationship horrors. So believe me, I know what I don't want.
One thing Ive noticed from reading profile after profile is that so many of us have been hurt and dragged through the mill of someone else's selfishness or our own poor choices.
Quite frankly I think that it's wonderful, we learn so much from each experience.
I have not given up on love. And yes, that is what I'm looking for. Not a friend or company or a warm body for my bed because I know when I fall in love, you will be all these things.
I also know that I cannot describe you or put you in a box because when you come, you will be nothing like what I expect.
