About Him
I am seeking someone with whom i can share affection and laughter and develop an emotional bond. A muse to help with writers block wouldn't be half bad either.. :-)
Now for the, 'its complicated bit'.....I am a committed father to my young daughter, who is the light of my life. I co-parent her with her mother and although our relationship is amicable we understand that we are no longer a couple. It is however frustrating to feel I have much to give and experience and yet in many ways am watching life pass by. Should something develop, you would be most welcome to verify this directly.
I am a self employed development consultant (you can ask me later what that actually means), well read and have to write a fair amount although at times original thought can be a painful process in creation. I have attempted to save the world a number of times now, but have been surprisingly unsuccessful. This has developed a little cynical streak in my outlook, but fear not, nothing too dark. I love to laugh, first at myself but after that its all fair game. My work does mean I travel a fair amount with clients and jobs throughout the country, region and in Europe.
I like socialising to a point, but once that point is reached there is nothing like some quiet alone time to regenerate my energy.
I enjoy a good book, and movies (and a good Netflix binge from time to time).
I am Interested in a range of topics, including economics, sociology, technology and psychology (particularly how these aspects combine in shaping the future) and am a bit of a sci-fi nerd.
Music is important in my life. I have eclectic tastes, winch range from Pearl Jam to Chopin. Oh yes.....I'm learning to play the guitar at 50. I'm so bad, but its good fun.
I Love good wine, (bit of a snob in this regard, I'm afraid) and good food. Preferably together. Mix this with good company and that's a great evening.
