Why should you get to know KellyH?
Where would you meet "genuine single" men without resorting to becoming a barfly? Tried networking through friends met some super people. Tried the Baron scene.... you tend be faced with men who are married and have amnesia for the night. Short of placing a placard on my back stating that I am single and rugby tackling the men in the supermarket. I thought I would try this avenue first.
Firstly, I shoot straight from the hip and I don't beat around the bush, I say what people think that are too scared to verbalise. I am not here to offend anyone with my straight forwardness.
I have three children who drive me batty, but they are my life and joy.
I love my friends and enjoy socializing, be it at home or out.
I am not looking a meal ticket. I am financially secure. Stable in my job, work in a man's world, have been known to put on my hard hat and safety boots and go underground on the mines, but don't think for one second that I will go stomping up a hill to camp on the pinnacle. My Girl Scout days are over. I'm someone who will share the load, but will stand my ground. I hold my own, "trade blows", so give me a little cr*p and I will give you a little cr*p right back.

I am looking for friendship and want to broaden my social circle, however, if you are looking for "friends with benefits" then you will be barking up the wrong tree.
Treat me like a lady and not like one of the boys, so don't shove a beer in my hand and slap me on the back. Someone that has got self respect and is comfortable with who they are, understands the responsibility of having children, however I am not looking for a surrogate father.

If you are separated and going through a divorce, not interested in your sad tale, go speak to a psychologist and sort yourself out. I am not knocking your situation, we have all been there at one point in our lives, and it's unfair on you and the person you are chatting to, as you are not emotionally available. I will not play second fiddle to your ex wives or work.
No alcoholics, not interested in pouring anybody into a bed or taxing them home. Intelligent conversation, a good sense of humour and spell check is some of the things that are a must! I will not make excuses for bad behaviour.
